The spaceOutside - Its the rural setting that gives this place its charm, acres of picturesque farmland are a perfect start for guests who wish to embrace their inner rambler pit stopping at the local country pubs. Those who wish to stay a little closer to home can wander drink in hand over to the outdoor dining area under the pergola whilst a feast is cooked in the outdoor kitchen featuring a Gozney woodfired pizza oven or for those looking to show off their BBQ skills there is a Big Green Egg.
Located in the privacy of the gardens is a sumptuous wood fired hot tub, outdoor bath and bespoke nordic sauna.
Inside - before you pick which room is yours, allow us to set the scene: a cosy english farmhouse with a sung luxe aesthetic and modern country feel. Expect exposed beams, crittal floor to ceiling windows, a mix of modern and reclaimed furniture that all lend a nod to contemporary farmhouse chic.
The entrance to Freya’s Farmhouse opens up to a spacious hallway with seating and a desk area. To the right of the hallway is the beautiful farmhouse kitchen which is fully equipped with Smeg oven, dishwasher and fridge-freezer. For the winter months there is a lovely log fire. Off of the kitchen is a spacious dining room which seats up to 8 people - there are two sets of double doors one opens out onto the outside kitchen area and the other to the front of the house, overlooking the beautiful gardens and outside dining area.
Freya’s Farmhouse has three bedrooms, all on the first floor. The master bedroom has a super king-size bed with private ensuite bathroom featuring a freestanding bath, bedroom two has double bed with an additional small double on the mezzanine floor (please not only suitable for adults), bedroom three has a double bed. The first floor bathroom has a large walk-in shower, WC and sink with Aesop products.
Your stay includes a Sonos sound system in the kitchen dining area, Smart Tv’s, linen, towels, logs and kindling.
Practicalities - There is ample parking for 8 cars. Freya’s Farmhouse has a Smeg cooker with five zone induction hob, double oven and grill plus a large Smeg fridge-freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, Smeg Kettle and dishwasher. There is Skylink Wifi throughout the property.
Soho Bonington is Eco friendly providing an electric car charging point and solar supplemented energy
Pets - we welcome 2 small well behaved dogs with an additional charge of £60 per dog (please let us know beforehand)
Guest accessGuests have access to the Farmhouse and the Farmhouse gardens
Additional notesThe Farmhouse is located amongst 2 other properties, The Cabin - which is opposite and the Black Barn which is behind.
The Cabin is open to book for additional guests and sleeps up to another 2 people
The barn is our family home, so you may see us arriving/leaving. We ask that you are respectful of our home and to keep the noise down after midnight.
The price is based on occupancy so please be sure to add in your number of guests when booking.
Please also note - we are on the flight path to East Midlands airport and you may hear the aeroplanes overhead (although we are used to it and it does not bother us we provide earplugs for you should you want to use them)
If you are looking to book our space for a photoshoot/videography, you must notify us prior to bookingas there is a fee.Failure to do so can result in us shutting down the booking.
If you are looking to host an event or party please get in touch as we do charge a fee
Please note that we do not allow additional visitors who aren’t included on the booking
Please do not go ahead with a booking and then do any of the above, we have others in the building to think about and so we balance this out with them prior to accepting. Anyone found to be breaking our guidelines will have their booking cancelled.

Neighborhood overviewThere is a local pub The Star Inn - a 5 minute walk down the road (please note it is a country lane - but you will be fine walking on the grass verges)
A 15 minute walk and you will be in the village of Sutton Bonington where there are a couple of other pubs and a coffee shop
We are a 10 minute drive from Loughborough town centre which has a great coffee shop Public on Frederick Street and a super pizzeria called Peter (there are also plenty of other shops/supermarkets/bars/restaurants)
We are a 15 minute drive to West Bridgford and 20 minute drive to Nottingham City Centre - both with an array of other shops/supermarkets/bars/restaurants
Getting aroundThere is parking at the property
We are on a country lane and so walking is ok but please bare in mind if you want to get anywhere you will need to take a car/uber/taxi
East Midlands Parkway and Loughborough Train station are around 10 minutes drive
